How does a challenger brand take on a global competitor?

The challenge

To design and build a new website, improve search engine rankings and performance, and to outshine a very established competitor.

 

Hytera offers a wide range of radio communication devices, potential customers were often overwhelmed with choice. Our task was to optimise the user’s decision making process, prevent drop-out, and create more measurable contact with their dealers.

 

Concerned they were being wrongly perceived as offering low quality products, the client challenged us to elevate perceptions of Hytera and better reflect the higher quality of their products and services through visual design, photography and user experience.

The solution

The new responsive website is fresh and modern in look and feel. It includes an easy to use interactive Product Finder to guide people to the right Hytera products for their requirements. There is also a Dealer Finder feature which enables direct, and measurable contact with dealers and distributors.

 

Essentially we optimised the user journey through to conversion and eliminated the pain-points. The competitor's website looked somewhat 'behind the curve' by comparison.
